Research On Method Of Surveying Instrument Metrological Calibration Data Processing And Development Of Information Management System

With the rapid expansion of surveying instruments calibration market, surveying instruments calibration institutions face the growing and increasingly complex calibration tasks. The current working pattern is given priority to with manual operation, many daily work (such as information and document management, data processing, etc.) exist different levels of inefficiency and operation confusion. In view of the problem, this research will develop a system used for surveying instruments calibration data processing and information management which will become more normative and specific. The new system is expected to reduce the uncertainty due to manual operation as well as improve the efficiency and information level of the calibration institutions. The main contents and achievements are as follows:Firstly,take the example of testing center of surveying engineering in Southwest Jiaotong University, it analysed the disadvantage of current working pattern for surveying instruments calibration institutions and proposed the requirement of software.Secondly. it researched the calibration items, calibration principles and data processing methods of common surveying instruments as well as writed or modified all calculative programs for data processing of surveying instruments calibration based on Microsoft excel and vba language.Thirdly, it developed the system of surveying instruments calibration data processing and information management for testing center of surveying engineering in Southwest Jiaotong University. The research content include global design of system and development of information management module,data processing module,certificate generation module, data conversion module,web site and web site maintenance tools. It tested the system and writed its operating document base on the actual work after completion of system development.The calculative programs of surveying instruments calibration in this research are proved feasible and correct by comparing calculation,the system of calibration information management is proved feasible and correct through some tests such as information inquiry, information edition and production certificate, and the web site is verified stable and reliable by the Internet visit and maintenance test too.
