| Radon surveying technique has been a convenient and effective radioactive exploration in the field of earth physical prospecting, which is applied widely in many fields. The paper discusses basic principle, working method and data processing of Radon surveying. Considering radioactive decay of Radon surveying data and many disturbing factors in the actual work, we require analysis, emendation and processing actual data. Based on analysis of associated thought and basic principle, according to concrete request in the actual work, we establish a design scheme and realize software of preprocess, emendation and plotting of Radon data.For the purpose of practical application, on the base of Windows developing platform, the article designs a visual and integrated Radon measuring data processing system by using object oriented language Visual Basic6.0, connecting it to Access through Microsoft Jet Engine which provides full support for SQL and calling application program using a interface between VB with Surfer. The system can make the best use of computer resources and is not confined by computer memory, realize data storage and management in the database and process large data. It provides friendly GUI for user and can be use easily.At the same time it can improve greatly efficiency.The system is proved to be efficient when it is applied in data processing of Radon measuring of Wangcun mine,Datong. The result shows the system is available in the actual work.
