A Systematics Research Of Phaonia Fuscicoxa-group In Phaonia From China (Diptera: Muscidae)

Phaonia fuscicoxa-group belongs to order Diptera, family Muscidae, genusPhaonia. In this study, the morphological characteristics and the phylogeneticrelationships among specie-groups in Phaonia were investigated. And for the firsttime, the Phaonia minutiungula-group, the Phaonia chalchica-group, the Phaoniatriseriata-group, the Phaonia fuscicoxa-group and the Phaonia shanxiensis-subgroupin the original Phaonia errans-group were merged into a new Phaoniafuscicoxa-group by the similar morphological structures. The new keys to the genusPhaonia and species of Phaonia fuscicoxa-group were provided. The distribution andof species were provided. Five new species were described and illustrated in thispaper, namely Phaonia subfuscicoxa Xue et Rong,2014, Phaonia hypotuberosurstylaXue et Rong,2014，Phaonia sp.1.(in litt.)，Phaonia sp.2.(in litt.) and Phaonia sp.3.(in litt.).There are5illustrations, about51,000words, the English descriptions of thenew species are given in this paper.The type specimens of new species are deposited in the IESNU (Institute ofEntomology, Shenyang Normal University), Shenyang, China.
