The Niels Bohr Institute is an international institute and the research center of atomic physics and quantum physics in the first half of20th century, the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics was succeed here in that period. The institute advocated the researching style of unity struggle, joint research, the freedom to explore, the pursuit of truth. The Niels Bohr Institute were always friendly to Chinese, New China were isolated by international academic circles shortly after the founding of The People’s Republic of China, during the cold war between China and the United States as well as Soviet union tore up the agreement with China, China is passive in the international academia. Denmark was the first country open to China and against the blockade to China, inviting Chinese scholars to work and learning their institute to help China keep up with the trend of the international academic community. Fujia Yang was fortunately to be a visiting scholar in Bohr institute to study nuclear physics during1963-1965. He had learnt how to educate and study as well as professional knowledge, and made a great contribution to the communication between Demark and China.I finished the translation, collection and analysis of the letters between Fujia Yang and the members of Niels Bohr Institute from1965. Combined with the relating books、articles and the materials of the interviews with Fujia Yang^Zhang Li and Dingchang Xian. I will describe the process of Yang’s study in NBI and their mutual influence to readers, mainly achievement as following:1. Fujia Yang participated in inviting Aage Bohr in1973, they visited China and brought the world frontiers of knowledge, but also promoted the exchange and cooperation between China and Denmark; Yang also invited Deutch to visit many cities in China, making academic lectures and laboratory work. He worked in Yang’s laboratory in Fudan University, which greatly promoted the progress of Yang’s career. Yang could have a lot of foreign friends, which owing to his stay in NBI.2.Niels Bohr Institute expected to expand the cooperation areas with China, such as bioiogical physics, astrophysics, archeology, etc; The institute also expand the scientific community between Denmark and China, such as the institute in Aarhus University, which indicating the academic exchanges of the two countries moved to a new stage. In this process, Yang actively invited foreign scholars to visit China and introduced Chinese scholars to study in Denmark, he had a positive impact on the academic community both for China and Denmark.3. Denmark was open to Chinese academic circles when China was isolated. The three generations of Bohr family were very friendly to Chinese, the Chinese held a variety of rituals to commemorate Niels.Bohr’s95and100anniversary of birth.4. Fujia Yang and the members in the institute cared for each other in their daily lives as well as keeping in touch on work. They often send each other daily necessities、country culture ’specialties’ and share their living conditions and the latest academia developments in respective countries. This process shows us the true friendship of the physicists between Denmark and China.
