| Among all the comprehensive factors the climate factor is one of the mostimportant. By evaluating comfortable living conditions this factor plays one of themost important roles, as living in a city might be complicated without an appropriateclimate.The change of climate has affected environment, as well as the comfort of livingconditions. At the same time, China has entered in a period of rapid urbanization,which led to the damage of the city ecological landscape. The process of urbanizationhas formed a new urban ecological landscape, also changed the local climate of thecity and comfort level of people life in the city. Therefore, the study of urban climatecomfort degree allows not only to analyze the impact of climate change, but that ismore importantly, it has a guiding significance for urban development.Article analyzes the evaluation methods of influence on human beings, caused bythe changes of climate. Article uses Geographic Information System (GIS) to evaluateclimate comfort degree, in order to more authentically analyze the spatial andtemporal characteristics of the climate in China, and evaluate the climate comfortdegree in the cities.Using the temperature, humidity and wind speed data, and Luding Huangproposed formula a comprehensive comfort index is calculated. Combining thefinding index with ArcGIS processing tools, a map of comprehensive climate comfortdegree of9cities of China Eastern coast is created. It can be seen from the map, thatthere is no extremely uncomfortable areas in the Eastern coast. Hainan (Haikou city),Guangdong (Guangzhou city) and most of Fujian Province (Fuzhou city) belong tocomfortable climate regions; Zhejiang (Hangzhou city), Jiangsu (Nanjing city) andthe southwestern part of Shandong (edge of Jinan city) are relatively comfortableclimate regions; northeastern part of Shandong Province, Hebei Province(Shijiazhuang City) and Beijing, Tianjin belong to uncomfortable climate regions.The results show that this method improves the efficiency and accuracy of theevaluation. One allows to portray climate comfort degree natural patterns and regionaldifferences, also can quantitatively reveal the spatial regularity of climatic comfortconditions in different regions of China. |
