TiO2is an important inorganic functional materials, its storage and use of solar energy, photovoltaic, photochromic and photocatalytic degradation of air and water pollutants and other potential applications have become one of key research topics. The titania nanotubes have greater specific surface area and stronger Adsorption ability than nanoparticles, so it is worth to pay close attention to in gas sensors, photocatalysis, photovoltaic cells and other parties. In this paper,we successfully prepared titanium dioxide film by hydrothermal synthesis method on the flexible asbestos substrate. The particle the diameter of the films is about80nm, and the thickness of the film is about3μm. Under the different growth conditions we prepared different particle sizes nanofilm. And we study on the photocatalytic efficiency changings under the different growth conditions and find out the relative optimum degradation conditions. We characterized the phase composition surface morphology and the UV absorption of the films under the different reaction conditions: reaction temperature, reaction time, the concentration of titanium sulphate, sodium carbonate concentration, different metal ion-doped, dopant concentration and irradiation time. We draw phase composed of sample is anatase, and find out the degradation rate of up to86%.
