Study On HPD Sharing Platform Based On The ArcGIS Environment

Spatial data sharing mainly involve the framework of spatial information, spatialinformation integration, and interoperability, etc. To achieve geographic informationsharing, you have the policy system and organization system, technology andstandards and so on. First of all, we have to solve the data format.HPD chart management system widely used by shipping companies, MaritimeBureau, ports and other sectors. In addition to the HPD data in many ports ofgraphical database, DWG and oceanographic data in other formats. Due to theheterogeneity of the data and software systems lead to hampered for these data needtogether superimposed at the same time.This paper studies the HPD database overall structure and Oracle Spatial theoryto analyze the relationship between HPD Spatial Data Organization, extracted fromdifferent types of material underlying spatial data sheet, in the ArcSDE technicalsupport will be registered as a layer of ArcGIS,and the ArcEngine SDK read theDWG format data as well as the hydrographic data overlay and display in the ArcGISenvironment.
