The rapid development of internet technology has opened a new chapter for geographicinformation development, also promote the spatial information resource abundance. With thedevelopment of technology and the richer information resource, the apperceive of spacesituation based on massive information becomes possible, the related space situationcalculation and expression technology has gradually become a research hotspot. With thepeople’s requirement of spatial cognition is more and more strong, providing effective toolsto express the space environment becomes the goal for geographic information development.Heatmap analysis as an effective tool on express the space situation, helping users bettercognitive the space environment, has been widely used in many fields such as economy,culture and life. But the existed Heatmap analysis has just considered the characteristics of thegeographic object itself while ignoring the influence of the surroundings. This is against theactual situation. This paper presents the method of calculation Heatmap with spatial constraintconditions can more effectively reflect the realistic environment. It can play a great role inpolicy formulation, the business decision, regional planning etc… The main research contentsas following:The first model is calculation the buffer boundary of the constraint conditions, and thenput the geographic objects which within the buffer zone into a dataset. Divided theconstraints’ buffer into several levels and put objects falling in different areas into differentdatasets. During render the Heatmap objects in the same dataset have the equal Influenceradius. According to the distance to the constraint condition the value of radius decreasingdistribution.The second model is calculate Heatmap without constrained conditions first.Thenregister the Heatmap image to make sure the Heatmap and space constraint conditions usingthe same coordinate system. Finally cut of Heatmap using constraints condition.After verify the validity of the two models, we used the two models into the realapplication. Firstly, the Beijing city residential area property prices heat calculation. Then weanalyzed the relationship between tourist’s interesting points and road distribution in theGreat Wall. Contrast the obtained results and the actual situation, proved the model can meetthe application requirements...
