Study On The Insect Diversity In Different Environment In Xiaowutai Mountain Natural Reserve Areas

Xiaowutai mountain natural reserve Area is located in the northwest of Hebei Province，and belongs to the Hebei Northwest Mountain land. The mountain is in the County ofyuxian and Zhuolu with its Geographical coordinates for longitude114°47’~115°30’,latitude39°50’~40°07’. It is one of the important protected areas in North China. Based onthe importance of this area some survey and research were made about the diversity ofinsect from July to September in2011to provide theoretical basis and basic data forprotecting the restore of ecological system as well as the biodiversity of this area.The author had studied the composition, temporal dynamics as well as diversity of insectcommunity with different habitats in the protected areas, and had analyzed their diversitytendencies in different habitats. And obtained the results as follows：(1) In the survey, a total of3317insects were collected, belonging to13orders,54families. Coleoptera and Homoptera stand in the dominant position of their own familypercentage. While Homoptera and hymenoptera stand in the dominant position ofindividual percentage.(2) Hymenoptera and Orthoptera insects are sensitive to temperature. Diptera insects aresensitive to humidity. Homoptera insects have low sensitivity to temperature and humidity.(3) The community composition and species composition of insects vary with theirhabitats, and the richness of species is shown as follows:sunny slope> cloudy slope;scrub-grassland> arboreal forest; July>September>August.(4) The variation tendency of diversity index of the insect (H) and evenness index (E)with time are basically the same, but are opposite with superiority concentration index (C).(5) There are a total of24families and50species of plants in the vegetation surveyed.The richness index of various vegetation types in descending order are: sunny slopescrub-grassland, cloudy slope scrub-grassland, birch forest, pinus tabulaeformis forest.(6) There is a close relationship between insect community and plant community. Thehigher the stability of herbaceous community is, the higher the stability of insectcommunity will be.(7) Herbaceous layer and the surface layer of insect community than herbaceous layerand shrub layer of insect communities closer together.(8) The insect community connection of field layer and the surface layer is much closer than that of field layer and shrub layer.(9) Insects community in pinus tabulaeformis forest are sensitive to the change oftemperature, and insects community in woodland and shrub are more sensitive to humiditychanges.
