With the quickening pace of urbanization and the rapid development of urbanconstruction, industrial production and living water consumption continue to increaserapidly. The contradiction between supply and demand of water resources has becomeincreasingly. Resources and engineering water shortage has become one of the mainbottleneck restricting the development of social economy. Reservoir construction notonly storage and accumulation effect on surface water up, which can be used for powergeneration, irrigation, water supply and other functions. Use of reservoir to regulationflood can maximally solve the problem of water supply shortage of water resources inthe area. But reservoir construction in mountain area, because the impounding ofreservoir cause the water soaking and water level change, which also cause theunderground water level surrounding the bank rise. Then, the balance of the originalgeological environment is broken. The new geological disasters of landslide, collapse,debris flow and so on will appear. So, based on geological background of reservoir area,to construct the evaluation system and to reduce the loss caused by geological hazard inmaximum have become the focus of public attention.This article evaluate reservoir geological hazards according to the Jinniu mountainreservoir engineering geological disasters, with the method of AMFP through thepresent situation investigation of the reservoir area extraction of environmental factorsand hazard have certain connection as the evaluation factor, and combined with thepractical situation to determine the induced factor. Constructing the four dimensionsevaluation model of the maturity, potentiality, risk degree and endangering degree. Withstepwise analysis and step-by-step calculation realization the division of geologicalhazard evaluation and four dimensional model of Jinniu mountain reservoir area. level.Based on conditions,proposed the countermeasure of geological disaster of reservoirarea.
