Used transect method and samples of the Statistics Law investigate avian community structure inWest Tianmu Mountain tourist area during a year time (from March of2012to February of2013),compare and analysis of bird community structure and diversity in different habitats. The main resultsare as follows:1. It is shown that there are2027individuals and94species were recorded, which belong to11ordersand33families. Among them, the second-class protected wild animals in China had8species,which was8.51%of total species; the Zhejiang provincial key protected wild animals had12species, the especial endemic wild animals to China had7species.2. Local geographical fauna, there are31palearctic species(32.98%),48oriental species(51.06%),15eurytopic species(15.96%). To statistics with resident, resedents have62species(65.96%),17species of winter resident(18.09%),12species of summer resident(12.77%),3species oftravelers(3.19%). Because most of them are resedents, dominant species and common species areresedents(total20species), avian community structure in West Tianmu Mountain tourist area haverelative stability.3. The seasonal fluctuant feature showed that the pinnacles of richness, diversity coefficients comeforth in december (6.768,3.049), and January is the least month (2.660,2.078); in the four seasons, the pinnacles of richness, diversity coefficients come forth in autumu(8.170,3.546), and winter isthe least month(4.377,2.465).4. Density statistics fonud that the greatest density was in January and February,14.30individuals/km2,11.75individuals/km2,second was August and September,9.84individuals/km2,9.74individuals/km2, the smallest density was in June(3.61individuals/km2). At all seasons, avaindensity approach in summer and winter,13.93individuals/km2,13.40individuals/km2, spring andautumn are closed,9.91individuals/km2,10.05individuals/km2. Therefore, bird communitystructure showed obvious seasonal changes throughout the year.5. The interlock distribute in these habitats provides a more advantageous environmental conditionsfor birds foraging, perching and breeding. Because of the higher rate of forest coverage(over95%),the high majority of birds are forest birds(93.6%), water birds are few and far(6.4%). Bird habitatroughly be divided into six categories by terrain features and vegetation types: grass, neighborhoods, bamboo forest, shrub, waters and woodland. The research results prove that distribution of birdspecies have obvious differences, higher species in the woodlands(64species), followed byshrub(20species), neighborhoods(14species), waters(12species), grass(8species), bamboo forest(1species).The maximum number of bird species in the woodlands, which was63%of total quantity, followed by shrub, accounting for about15.8%, they are the most bird distribution concentratedareas.Based on the investigation and analysis, tourist area birds suffer enormous implication by humanactivities, especially the number of raptor, waterfowl and psittaci were low, they are sensitive tointerference. So, it is necessary to strengthen the conservation and management of tourist area, suggestthat relevant departments lay down scientific and rational planning, and increase research investment; On this basis, strengthen advocation to improve tourist eco-tourism consciousness; Finally, payattention to artificial attract useful birds.
