The technology of seismic interpretation has been from structural interpretation deepedinto reservoir predication and reservoir evaluation in nowadays. Spectral decompositiontechnology is a new seismic imaging analysis method based on the spectral analysistechnology, it can reveal the changing law of stratigraphic in vertical direction and3Devolution pattern of sedimentary facies. The quantificational description and analysis arecarried out from reservoir to single sand set unit. Spectral decomposition principle is totransform the seismic data into the frequency domain via a Discrete Fourier Transform orother method transform, image the tuning energy corresponding to the seismic reflection.Spectral decomposition could be used to identify the sapatial distribution and shape ofgeologic bodier and corresponding sedimentary thickness.The research area’s structure position is around Linnan depression, the member3ofShahejie Formation developed fan delta depositional system and a variety types of reservoirs.In recent years, the exploration focus in the research area is Es3x channel sand body reservoir.However, deeply buried reservoirs, poor seismic quality, obvious lateral alternation of channelsand body and complicated fracture system result in great difficulty in exploration by theroutine seismic property analysis method, therefore how to describe the reservoir distributioneffectively is the key to the oil exploration.This paper which taking wavelet transform sequence division and forward modelingtechnology, clarifies the channel sand body seismic response and carrys out the target zoneinterpretation, the application of spectral decomposition forecasts its spatial distribution andrelative sedimentary thickness, with using some methods to refine study channel sand bodyreservoir in the area and combine the sediment analysis and typical oil reservoir wellself-analysis, basic on the structure feature and reservoir distribution feature to propose favorable exploration belts finally.
