With the deepening of the degree of oil and gas development, major reservoirs of manyoilfields have been developed into very high water containing development phase. It has beenvery serious that the injected water cycles inside the reservoir inefficiently and invalid. studyon reservoir internal structure, especially the single sand body identification andcharacterization methods and excavate the remaining oil within sand bodies has graduallybecome the main target of oilfield development. interwell configuration predicting has beenthe difficulties of the reservoir internal structure. Well spacing density can never meet theneeds of the underground reservoir configuration research. As a result, the research of narrowchannel sand body prediction and characterization methods is particularly important by wellseismic joint.By the research of sedimentary characteristics of Gaotaizi thinkened well pattern in thewestern of the middle of Daqing oilfield, Gaotaizi reservoir in the delta front subfaciessedimentary sand body has been further researched and the delta front depositional model hasbeen renewed. Phase diagram drawing with the combination of dynamic and stable for thenarrow channel sand body in Gaotaizi delta front has been carried out and a set of activityunion drawing method and operation process has been founded. Thus narrow channel sandhas been further forecasted, the results of application show that the prediction of narrowchannel sand body by well seismic joint is feasible.
