Hanxing iron ore is one of China’s major iron ore type, the Hanxing region of China isan important iron and steel base, but as the demand for steel, gradually ascending Hanxingafter iron ore deposits in the continuous mining, surface shallow deposits have beendepleted. The ore body is controlled by igneous rocks and limestonecontact surface structure and interlayer fracture zone tectonic control, roughly divided intotwo ore body (or ore cluster), were located in Middle Ordovician limestone strata ofNo.1orebody and occurs in igneous rocks and Middle Ordovician limestone contact zone IIore body.2.Observation of hand specimens, the basic characteristics of the optical sheet, andcombined the research samples of geochemical characteristics of rocks, that Baijian miningiron ore rock is mainly the Middle Ordovician Majiagou Formation and Cixian formationlimestone, its lithology is mainly consisted of dolomitic limestone, calcareous dolomite.Through the rock chemical analysis results can be seen, rock chemical compositionchanged greatly, the chemical composition of the wall rock on the mineralization has noeffect, but some rock chemical composition of ore to rise to promote action.3.Through field geological survey, can clear Baijian magmatic rock mainly forconcealed rock body, observation of drilling the rock specimen, found on the rock at different degree happened albitization, fresh from albite rock drilling is not revealed, butthrough the albitization of weaker rocks were microscopically thin section identification,results discovery, mining area and mineralization related to the magmatic rocks in calcalkaline series of diorite, two rocks, rock types are mainly dioritic Bin Yan and diorite.Then from the magmatic rock type and skarn deposit metallogenic specificity analysis,magmatic rocks types in favor of skarn type iron ore formation.4.Wall rock alteration is the hydrothermal activity in the surrounding rock left the mostobvious geological prospecting signs, wall rock alteration and mineralization types areclosely related, on the Baijian iron core of hand specimens were observed undermicroscope and thin section identification, found Baijian iron ore wallrock alteration type,but different surrounding rock alteration in the ore rock development degree have obviousdifferences, which are most closely related to mineralization and alteration type is thealbitization phenomenon. In combination with the chemical analysis and electron probeanalysis, think of albite rock iron precipitation, precipitation of ore-forming material intothe ore-forming fluid, under construction, rock and ore forming physical chemicalconditions under the control of the migration, enrichment, precipitation process5.Based on ore forming material sources of stream, and to move on to mine data, thinkBaijian iron minerals mainly came from the surrounding rock ore, zircon isotopic age studyshows, ore-forming mainly for Yanshan in the late magmatic rocks, geological age of121.89±0.67Ma.
