The Hanxing Iron ore is one of China’s major iron ore types Hanxing the importantsteel base, the area is rich in iron ore resources, the quality of the ore is high grade, hasimportant industrial value. However, with the rapid development of China’s economy, therapid increase in demand for steel and iron ore deposits of Hanxing succession mining,many mining resources nearly depleted. Therefore, strengthening the edge of the oldmining, deep and peripheral mineralization forecast is the focus of the prospecting work.By Hanxing iron ore geological features, explore deposit into the minerals sources andformation process, genesis, provide a basis for the study of metallogenic model. Throughresearch work, the following understanding:1. The Hanxing iron ore for the contact metasomatic iron deposit. Mainly produced inthe rock mass and Austria and Ordovician carbonate contact belt. Hanxing main types ofmagmatic rocks pyroxene peridotite-gabbro rock, angle sparkling diorite, diorite-monzonite and syenite rock. Rock types are closely related with mineralization anglesparkling syenite and diorite-monzonite rock. Diorite-monzonite distribution area themost extensive deposits related to more large-scale.2. The Hanxing iron wall rock alteration is widespread development. Accountalteration metasomatism alteration product features, wallrock alteration types of oredeposits of the area can be divided into the albitization effect, three types of the skarn roleand hydrothermal alteration. Overall, albitization is the most common alterationphenomenon, whether it is the orebody around or no the ore body contact with nearby thediorite are there are varying degrees of albitization phenomenon. The albitization Is one ofthe most important features of mine wall-rock alteration.3. Rock geological age of the study area is mainly concentrated between125-135Maigneous rock mass isotope geology of the study area dating results, the product should be athe Yanshan period of magma intrusion. Mineralization can be seen by zircon dating rockmass is the middle Yanshanian the magma rock, the geological age of110-135Ma. Thisshows that the study area related magmatic mineralization of Yanshanian intrusions body isno doubt.4. Hanxing iron ore geological features, the study of the genesis, the establishment ofthe metallogenic model, and provide direction to proceed Hanxing iron ore prospecting work.
