With the economic development and social progress, the systems provided formankind become large and complex. Whether these large and complex systems canrealization their function under specified conditions and stipulated time are closelyrelated to their reliability. In order to make the systems work normally and improve theirreliability, it is necessary to carry out research of reliability growth. Currently, more andmore firms begin to strengthen the importance of carrying out complex systemsreliability growth management and evaluation research. Especially in the nationaldefense enterprise it is regarded as an important cornerstone for the modernization.This paper firstly introduces the background of the research, meaning, content,methods and technical route. At the same time,it also summarizes home and abroadresearch results and trends. Secondly, this paper describes the conduct of complexsystems reliability growth management and evaluation studies involving the maintheories and methods. In order to provide high-quality data for the reliability assessmentof complex systems, this article construct a data management model in Chapter threewhich combines systems engineering theory Hall D structure and TRIZ technicalevolution theory,and this model can manage all the information of complex systems.we also analyze the maturity differences and characteristics of the cross-device,multi-stage, multi-view reliable data management and technology management.Thirdly, according to the data management model providing data for complex system to carryout inspection and AMSAA reliability growth trend model goodness of fit test, the useof parameter estimation to determine the system MTBF, creating complex stagingsystem reliability evaluation model of growth through segmentation system reliabilitygrowth model assessment growth point, determining the system ’s growth trends indifferent periods changes, which could provide the basis for management departmentdecision-making timely. Finally, we summarize the content of this study and point outthe deficiencies of this paper.The conclusions of this study can help engineers detect the project defects indesign phase, elevating the reliability of complex systems. Meanwhile, the reliability growth model and data management evaluation method constructed in the paper alsohave some definite universality. This study has a strong reference for other similarsystems which would carry out reliability growth evaluation studies.
