Atmospheric scattering media distribution is closely related to atmospheric environment temperature, humidity and so on, environmental changes make the light present different scattering characteristics in the process of atmospheric transmission, and cause changes in the polarization properties of scattering light, The effects of environment changes on the scattering light polarization properties in polarization remote sensing, target detection and meteorological research in areas such as there are a wide range of applications. This paper studies the polarization properties of the scattering medium under different conditions of relative humidity and temperature changes. On the basis of simulation and experiment, design the experimental system to study the atmospheric environment and the polarization of scattering light, and provide a theoretical basis for the related application.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) According to major change of the atmospheric environment, summarized the effects of the atmospheric environment light transmission characteristics, analyses the changes of environment such as temperature and humidity scattering particles, based on Mie scattering theory, combined with the single particle and particle cluster characteristics of medium particles, established a simulation model about the relationship between some environmental factors and polarization degree.(2) To study the effect of temperature and humidity changes on the scattering light polarization characteristics, the simulation analysis of the polarization characteristics under different temperature and humidity environment, under the different relative humidity conditions, the polarization characteristics of particles in a certain scope of scattering angle change regular; Through the simulation research and experiment verification, found that atmospheric medium polarization degree also varies with temperature change under different temperature conditions.(3) For study the scattering light polarization characteristics under the environment changes, designing an experiment system is used to study the environmental changes and polarization characteristics of light, combined with the temperature and humidity of the simulation and the actual demand analysis, the experimental system can be divided into fog and humidification module, temperature, airflow module and light collection module, and based on the analysis of each module function to design the system.
