In this study, Yuanan county in Yichang of Hubei is the research object, and it is based on Landscape Ecology and Sustainable Development Theory. We combine remote sensing information use with GIS Infrastructure in order to do research and analysis on Biotope Landscape. And then we reach to the evaluation on ecological suitability by analysing habitat factor superposition.Then we combine the biodiversity investigation on typical region samples within the county with urban habitat and survey of the habitat in order to make plan for biodiversity conservation of Yuanan county and city subdivision,and then to promote modernization to coexist with nature, and also to promote economic development to coexist with biodiversity.Papers main results:(1) Combined with basic information, using remote sensing and GIS technology,we make analysis on habitat and habitat characteristics about two levels of the county and the city subdivison.And then we draw habitat analysis chart,and make ecological suitability assessment. YuanAn Contry is located in western Hubei mountainous JingShan foothill, the terrain landform is complex. The territory is northwest high, southeast low. Including high mountains, low mountains, hills, plains waters. The Ju River acrosses from north to south, forming hilly area in the west, hills in the east, flain eara in the middle. The city locating in the rush valley area of Ju River, is surrounded by mountains all around, and the scenery is beautiful. The terrain of built up area is relatively flat. Due to the construction and development of the city, especially the city hard construction land, the natural habitat pattern changes unceasingly. The result is the natural habitat patches broken, and the corridors disrupting. While a urban green space system with rational layout can effectively communicate the ecological linkages between the natural ecological sources, provide a good and migration corridor for biological survival and migration.(2) In Yuanan country, the terrestrial plant communities in this survey are divided into eight vegetation types,seventeen plant formations and twenty five associations.There are1262kinds of tracheophyte in Yuanan county, which are belonging to170families,683classes. Among them, there are143families of spermatophyte,645classes. Compared with them in China and in Hubei province, the study area has abundant species.According to the survey, the application of existing urban landscape plant species in Yuanan county are about207, including species,mutations, forms and garden-cultivars. Among them, there are about21kinds of gymnosperm,186kinds of angiosperm, and there are about27kinds of casuarina,42kinds of deciduous trees,31kinds of evergreen shrubs,30kinds of sheepberry which is nearly the same with evergreen shrubs,5kinds of bamboo,62kinds of herb which are the most one, and there are also about10kinds of liana according to the survey. We need to dig potential local species and enrich the plant species of the gardens.(3) Based on habitat analysis and ecological suitability assessment, and combined with plant diversity survey,we make the plan about Yuanan county biodiversity conservation which is based on the habitat analysis. The county level to optimize the overall pattern of habitat and protect its habitat sensitive area, construction of regional ecological corridor, implementing ecological partition protection to protection of habitat and biological resources. City level by protecting key areas, build multi-level corridor, form a green network, eventually form "a ring, a shaft, a stripe, more drops "habitat structure system.
