| During the late 1980s and early 1990s, the theory of sustainable development is founded and it is extensively identified by the world, especially the developing countries. As the problems of population growth, depletion of natural resources, environmental pollution, ecological damages and so on which are always restrict their socio-economic development. A book named《CHINA’S AGENDA 21—THE WHITE PAPER OF CHINA’S 21ST CENTURY POPULATION, ENVIRONMENT AND DEVELOPMENT》was published in march, 1994. It reflects that China is going to carry out sustainable development strategy and brought into the national economy and social development plans and put the all-round development of society in an important strategic position to realize the economy and society in balance and sustainable development. In the recent 30 years, China has achieved attractively success in socio-economic development.Since America has brought out the sub-prime crisis in 2007, the financial crisis swept the whole world. The global economy is in turmoil and crisis. In China, exports are blocked and show-down in economic growth and the production and management of enterprises are to be mired in difficulties. There is a large number of little enterprises are going bankrupt. During the global economic crisis, the processing industry of export aquatic products’processing enterprises are all meeting the serious loss. In accordance with the present situation, this essay analysis the current situation and the facing problems on processing industry in zhoushan export aquatic products, using the theory of sustainable development and industrial restructuring to explore how to promote the sustainable development in processing industry in zhoushan export aquatic products.
