Since1995the creditcard system put into operation, the CGB bank IT branch was building up the creditcard information system constantly to adapt to the needs of the business development. With the creditcard business innovating and developing, the system function continuous separating and refinement, the bank’s creditcard system to use the traditional management pattern has not been able to meet the high quality and efficient response to market demands in the peer competitive conditions. Therefore, improving and stadying on the quality management deeply in the process of the credit card information system construction is in the hope to draw some experience and methods in the process of the project quality management optimization, and better use to the creditcard information system construction from then on.Based on the above background, this article according to the basis of carding the related theory, first to intruduce the CGB information system project management system and credit card information system construction; then analysed the quality management status and the operation conditions of the credit card information system construction, and summarized the various typical problems of the performance out; then aiming at these problems, applyed the theory of total quality management, put forward the credit card information system construction optimize thought and method, set up the project quality management mechanism, developed the project process appraisal rules, designed and perfected the quality management programme such as the test process and project configuration measures, was finally obtained through that the improvement of the credit card information system quality is feasible after optimizing total quality management. After this, for the realization of the credit card information system construction of total quality management programs are effectively implemented, put forward to the optimized security the effects of the quality of the system in several important aspects, mainly analysised from the communication and training mechanism, normative requirement changes and defects treatment and other aspects, and gave personal opinions. Finally in this perspective, analyzes after the optimization of credit card information system quality management process, put forward to build up a new line of electronic fault processing platform base on the business information system of the whole bank. Through the platform, realization of production management of the whole process of fault treatment, timely analyze and solve quality faults and to summarize the experience and lessons, and provided some practical significance to the whole bank system of quality assurance and risk prevention.The problems in quality management of CGB credit card information system construction is universal in the same industry, study and solve these questions will provide good solutions for the other bank’s credit information system construction, promote reference significance to the financial sector and other information system quality management construction.
