| The international shipping industry, as an important part of the international logistics, plays unique role in the national economy. It is difficult for other modes of transportation to replace. The Ministry of Transport in2007had cleared that the future development goals of China’s shipping industry is construction of a maritime power country in2020. For achieving the goal of building shipping power, it is necessary to analyze the status of the development of China’s shipping, to find the Chinese shipping bottleneck in the development at this stage, so we will know what to do in the next stage of the construction of soft power of the Maritime Industry to achieve the shipping developing targeted.The current stage of China’s shipping development is that the shipping hard power is to lead the rest of the world shipping countries, but in the eyes of shipping soft power, there is a great gap between Chinese shipping soft power and the other countries. At this stage, in China shipping hard power and shipping soft power development uncoordinated in the shipping industry to achieve the goal of building a maritime power country. China’s shipping industry has an urgent need to strengthen the construction of the soft power of the shipping. The construction of the shipping soft power must be based on China’s current shipping soft power. Then we can talk about the future of the construction of the soft power of China’s shipping. Scholars of China’s industry had started to concern the problems of shipping soft power, but they do not form a unified, systematic research system. In the context of shipping soft power so uneven, I hope form a clear goal of building in the next phase of construction of shipping soft power in China, and cause academics on the importance of international shipping soft power research through this in-depth study.In this paper, the relationship between shipping soft power and shipping hard power has been introduced. Then the paper introduces the China’s current shipping soft power development, shipping soft power development paths, and shipping types were analyzed in this paper. The paper uses the hierarchical analysis on the development of shipping port cities which are in the domestic forefront, using principal component analysis for the shipping hard power. On the basis of evaluation of soft power and hard power, then the paper does the shipping port city on soft power and hard power matching analysis. |
