Zoning And Classification In Rural Residential Consolidation

Our country is now in the synchronous stage of industrialization, informatization,urbanization and agricultural modernization development, and the urbanization developmentwill lead to some problems, such as increasing construction land and decreasing arable land,which makes land resources face a grim situation. Rural residential consolidation not onlyimproves the conditions of production in rural areas and the conditions of new ruralconstruction, but also can effectively increase the quantity of cultivated land. And theregulation of urban and rural construction can solve the current land use contradiction in ourcountry.The study was conducted in Wu’an(East longitude113。45’-114。22’, latitude36。28’to37。02’) in Hebei province. This paper focuses on the zoning and classification of rural residentialconsolidation in each county. And through the perspective of human-earth relationship, weanalysis the suitability of rural residential consolidation in Wu’an, and calculate the potentialof rural residential land consolidation, providing a theoretical reference for the ruralresidential consolidation of Wu’an. The main research contents and conclusions are asfollows:(1) Based on the human-earth relationship theory, the suitable zoning of rural residentialareas was carried on. We selected comprehensive evaluation method based on man-landrelationship, choose reasonable evaluation indexes, and establish an index system of partitionin order to measure the total score of people and land partition in every county of Wu’an.Weused the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the index weights, and then do thestandardization for each index. Furthermore, we divided all counties into three zonesaccording to the suitability of rural residential consolidation;(2) The consolidation potential for the rural residential areas was divided. We chose thestandard of per person and per household of construction land, and selected total value ofhuman-earth relation as the correction coefficient. And then, the comprehensive weightedaverage method was selected to calculate the potential of rural residential consolidation.Therefore, the consolidation coefficient of the rural residential areas in counties was obtained, which divided the potential of rural residential consolidation into four levels;(3) The zoning of rural residential consolidation partitions was carried on based onzoning classification theory. Combining the partition of human-earth relation and the potentiallevel of rural residential consolidation, we divided the rural residential consolidation ofWu’an into three areas.In short, the study on the potential and zoning of rural residential consolidation canprovide reference for the further research of rural residential area in Wu’an.
