Under the condition of knowledge economy, Human resources development andmanagement has become increasingly important in the enterprise strategicmanagement. Compensation management is the core part and also as the heaviest partin Human resource management, which is concerned very seriously by enterprisemanagers and employees. Advanced and rational compensation system design is thekey for companies that want to attract more talents. In today’s competitive market, inorder to be able to motivate employees work enthusiasm and motivation as well asattract and retain talents, the enterprise must to establish scientific and reasonablecompensation system according to industry development levels and enterprise itself.Beijing Valves Corporation has carried on a system reform in2003. Because ofits historical reasons, the company lacks of modern management system, especiallylack of basic knowledge about compensation management. In this situation, thiscompany faced a lot of problems at this time, such as the increase loss of coretechnical employee and employees working enthusiasm is low, which brings greatinfluence to the enterprise.This paper systematically summarizes the domestic and foreign enterprisescompensation system theory research present situation by reference to a large numberof Chinese and foreign literature. We find this company’s problems existing incompensation system, through analyses the company’s present situation andsummarize domestic valve industry compensation. We design new compensationsystem for workers and technical and sales staff that was turnover frequently. And thisarticle also analyses the advantages and disadvantages of this compensation system inorder to make the compensation system more suitable for this company.
