Research On Transformation Of Shanxi Foreign Trade Development

In2012, the total foreign trade volume of China ranked first in theworld, but the Eastern region and the Western region are quite uneven.The six provinces in central are far behind the eastern provinces, thecentral and western provinces trade volume accounted for only about10%of China’s total trade volume. Shanxi Province, as a central provinceresource, which is rich of coal, only accounted for0.004in2011of China.The contribution of foreign trade to GDP takes up only0.09in Shanxi,and that is far behind the macro foreign trade situation of China. Shanximianly rely on “coal” to develop industry, the extensive mode ofeconomic development, economic and trade is heavily dependent onresources, heavy industry, the ecological environment is severelydamaged. Shanxi Province rely on resources, coke, electricity, metallurgyindustry has been very good development, development of the industry,however, is inhibited.
