Research On The Transformation Of Zhejiang's Foreign Trade Growth Mode

Foreign trade is an important factor for the economic growth and socialdevelopment. To promote the foreign trade growth, studying and seeking thesuitable foreign trade growth mode has become an important topic.Zhejiang is facing the transformation of foreign trade growth mode fromextensive to intensive.Since reform and opening-up, Zhejiang's foreign tradehas obtained the unprecedented achievement. But with swift development, theforeign trade has many problems: foreign trade structure is illogical; exportcommodity's additional value isn't high and content of science and technologyis low; the enterprise is scant of core competitiveness, which has caused thelow competitiveness and benefit of foreign trade. In brief, Zhejiang's foreigntrade is "big" not "strong". Therefore, traditional and extensive Zhejiang'sforeign trade growth mode will be difficult to sustain for a long time.So, it is significative for us to analyse and appraise the transformation offoreign trade growth mode. Therefore, this paper tries to do somecomprehensive researches on the transformation of Zhejiang's foreign tradegrowth mode theoretically and empirically. There are five parts in my paper: The first part introduces the background,significance, method, creation and difficulty, content of my research.The second part is the theoretical base of the paper, this part presents theexplaination,classification, factor, measure index of foreign trade growth modeand relevant the theores.The following is an important part, this part discusses and appraisesZhejiang's foreign trade growth mode from different angles and aspects suchas fountainhead of increase, foreign trade structure, RCA, mode of trade andbenefit of export by model, data, chart, index.Then, the paper introduces the experience of transforming foreign tradegrowth mode in Japan, Korea and other areas in China.The last part discusses the choice of strategy and fiscal policy, financialpolicy, industrial policy and strategic trade policy of transforming foreigntrade growth mode.
