Study On Project Communication Management Of Group Project

During the past30years,as the largest construction market in the world,China has been in a stage of rapid development of urbanization,and the amount of construtions account for more than half in the world’s construction market.With the size of the economy keeps expanding,large-scale construction activities will continue in the future period of time.This large-scale construction is generally led by the government,and shows the feature of large investment,complex projects and various fields.And are implement most of projects by building group projects together.Because of the various fields and participants,this kind of project management is quite complicated.It requirs a lot of coordination and communication,which is the basic work of project management.Communication is the most important part of management activities,especially the one between managers and employees is becoming the essence of the art of management.Peter Druker,the management guru,thinks that communication is the basic function of the management.The research and demonstration before decision,planning,the organization of work, interdepartmental coordination and external exchange are all inseparable from communication.In project management,communication management is the cornerstone of a variety of managemet,is the contact between people and information.It plays an important role in the success of the project.In the government-led construction project,management " Proprietor+Project Managenment+Project Supervision" is widely used,in which there are many related parties.Allunits have different tasks,goals and interrests.To complete the project,managers must coordinate all aspects.Especially in the group project,since the more related parties and the higher degree of difficulty of communication management,the level of communication among all parties will directly influenc the extent and effect of the project coordination.Participants of the group project,as a dynamic alliance,are organized together temporarily for common goals and interests of the project.And after the completion of the projecr,this alliance will no longer exist.Unlike in the ordinary enterprises,there are no long-term management communicationmechanism in such an unstable organization.Therefore,to reach the goal of the project,how to carry out rational management communication has becom a thorny issue.This paper is about the effectivenese of the communication in the group projects. We analysis goals of communication management,impact of organizational structure and communication problems of the participants of the group projec.From the evaaluation of the communication mechanism,we can get effective means of communication management in a group project,And the project of the3rd resettlement area in West Railway Station Area in Jinan is analysed as the object of study.
