A Study On The Management Of Road LTL Freight Transportation In Dalian

With the rapid economic and social development, social demand of the logistics industry is increasing, how the logistics industry can meet the requirements of economic development and promote economic development has also become a major topic of government and logistics companies. In the logistics industry of Dalian, The amount of road freight transportation always has the largest share of freight transportation. The road container transportation, van transportation and a variety of special transportation have been the focus of the road freight transportation development in Dalian for recent years, and has made certain achievements, however, the development of road Less-than-truckload (LTL) freight transportation is relatively slow.On the basis of the road freight transportation theory, combined with the characteristics of road LTL freight transportation, this paper describes the actual situation of road LTL freight transportation in Dalian, and analyzes the problems of road LTL freight transportation in Dalian from six aspects, including LTL freight station, infrastructure, the basic situation of enterprises, industry integrity, integration of resources and the construction of laws and regulations. Following the introduction to the German road LTL freight development experience and characteristics, the paper points that the most important factors of the road LTL freight development is the integration of resources. Finally, with this as the main target, learning from the development experience of road LTL freight transportation in German, using public management theory, the paper proposes the countermeasure of road LTL freight transportation in Dalian to guide the development of road LTL freight transportation in Dalian to a unified market and provide guidance and reference.
