In China, domestic Office software companies in recent years has made rapid development due to the inceasingly growing demands and the government’s active support. However, domestic Office software companies are still at a disadvantage in competition with international giants. There will be both the challenge and opportunity for domestic Office software companies. Deciding what strategies to take will make the domestic Office software companies grasp the opportunity to development the competition ability. This is an important problem receiving considering in the worlds of Yozosoft and all the domestic Office software companies.Firstly, The thesis summarized an overall exposition of Office software industry at home and abroad.Then the thesis states the develop phase of domestic Office software industry and highlights the company’s development status of Yozosoft. Based on investigation to the market and the native Office software enterprises, this thesis analyzed the market of China’s Office software industry. And Porter’s Model is applied to analyze market conditions. The dissertation point out that the domestic Office companies face enormous competitive pressures.The dissertation analyzes competitive strategies from three different angles. The first is from the perspective of general application software by means of game theory analysis of the compatibility strategies of domestic Office companies, pointing out that domestic Office companies must must achieve a certain degree of compatibility with incumbents when innovating. The second is from APIs system software perspective, pointing out that the total amount of complementarity’s types of Office software is also an important competitive factor. And with the game theory analysis of domestic companies differentiation strategy, the dissertation point out that domestic companies must adopt different strategies if they want to coexist with the incumbent.And domestic companies need to use differentiation strategy to attract more developers to support complementary products,and lock some consumers. Finally, from the perspective of the software platform and using platform competition theory, The dissertation introduces some competitive strategies when the domestic Office companies can not be fully compatible with mainstream platform.Based on research, the dissertation gives some opinions in promoting the Office complementary application development, the establishment of a complete industrial chain and the Standardization strategy.
