Study On The Development Of Circular Economy In Qitaihe City

Qitaihe city is located in the east of Heilongjiang Province. It is next to Jixi Cityand Mudanjiang City to the south, adjacent to Jiamusi City and Hegang City to thenorth, close to Shuangyashan City to the east and leading to Harbin City to the west.It is one of the four major coal cities in Heilongjiang Province. It plays an importantrole in connecting the east and the west, the north and the south in the economicdevelopment pattern of the whole province. As a young city built30years ago,Qitaihe City has achieved rapid growth relying on coal resources. The socialeconomy of the city has been developing rapidly. Qitaihe City has developed into acoal base demonstration city in the eastern parts of Heilongjiang Province. However,we are also fully aware that the traditional mode of economic growth is at the cost ofresources and environment. And we must abandon the high consumption andinefficient model and take the road of sustainable development. At present, recyclingeconomy construction in Qitaihe has made important progress, but the phenomenonof wasting resources is still serious, and sustainable development system of theeconomic society is still not perfect.Qitaihe City, as a typical and old industrial base of coal resources in NortheastChina, is vigorously developing the circular economy, which has an importantdemonstration and reference meaning for the similar cities.Therefore, combined with the latest research results in the field of circulareconomy and based on the basic situation of the circular economy of Qitaihe City,this essay focuses on the development of circular economy in Qitaihe City andbrings forward the measures and advice for the development of circular economy inQitaihe City by fully illustrating the basic theory of recycling economy and themodes of promoting circular economy at home and abroad.
