Study Of External Knowledge And Internal Knowledge’s Influence On The Innovation Performance In Manufacturing Industry

Based on the existing academic achievement of the relationship between knowledge and innovation and combined with exploration of knowledge management in enterprise management nowadays, this essay dividing knowledge into incremental knowledge and stock knowledge, researching the influence of incremental knowledge, stock knowledge and their interaction on enterprise in different stage. Firstly, it defines and classifies the incremental knowledge, stock knowledge and innovation performance, according to analyzing large amount of literatures, at the same time, describing the conceptions related to knowledge. Then, we summarize the scholars’research home and abroad, according to the research about the measurement indexes of incremental knowledge, stock knowledge and innovation performance, combined with the practical problems we concerned in this essay, to design a proper indexes system, including3incremental knowledge indexes,3stock knowledge indexes,3innovation performance indexes, and show them in the questionnaire. Lastly, by using of data analysis of the questionnaire received from283manufacturing enterprise of Henan province, combined with Corporate Lifecycles Theory, to research their individual and interactive effect on the innovation performance of enterprise both in growth period and mature period. Through making hypothesis and data analysis, the result of testing hypothesis is:During the growth period, both incremental knowledge and stock knowledge is helpful for the enterprise’s innovation performance, but the interaction of them is unhelpful for the innovation performance of enterprise:During the mature period, both incremental and stock knowledge are helpful for enterprise’s innovation performance, and the interaction of them is also helpful for the innovation performance of enterprise. According the result of evidence analysis, this essay raises that manufacturing enterprise should take different management strategy on incremental knowledge and stock knowledge,thus making full use of knowledge to innovate.
