As the basic input of enterprise innovation,knowledge has been paid much attention to by many scholars.Although existing studies have highly recognized the important role of knowledge accumulation in enterprise innovation,there is still no unified conclusion on the relationship between the two,and few literatures studies the internal mechanism of knowledge accumulation affecting enterprise innovation,as well as the dynamic feedback relationship between the two.Based on the basic question of "what is the relationship between knowledge accumulation and enterprise innovation?",this study applies the theory of Knowledgebased,Absorptive Capacity and Path Dependence to explore the internal mechanism of knowledge accumulation influencing enterprise innovation and dynamic feedback relationship between the two,using the methods of theoretical induction and deduction,statistical analysis,system dynamics simulation.The study is divided into five substudies which go further step by step.Sub-study 1,by using the structural equation model,this paper analyzes the difference of the effect of knowledge accumulation of different dimensions on two enterprises innovation types.Sub-study 2,using structural equation model,empirical analysis is made on the intermediary role of knowledge inertia between knowledge accumulation and different types of innovation from the perspective of knowledge inertia.Sub-study 3,empirical analysis is made on the impact of environmental turbulence on the relationship between knowledge accumulation and enterprise innovation by using hierarchical regression method.Sub-study 4,taking the System View as the basic idea,the elements of the "knowledge accumulation-enterprise innovation" system and its causality are clarified,the system structure chart of the "knowledge accumulation-enterprise innovation" system is constructed,and the combing relationship between variables is set up.Sub-study 5,The long-term trend between knowledge accumulation and enterprise innovation is simulated and the sensitivity of the external variables of "environment instability" and "externalknowledge source" to the system of "knowledge accumulation-enterprise innovation" is tested by using the system dynamics simulation method.The main contributions of this study are as follows:Firstly,it identifies the intermediary role of "knowledge inertia" between knowledge accumulation and enterprise innovation.Most of the predecessors explained the mechanism of knowledge accumulation influencing enterprise innovation from the perspective of knowledge application and ability.These studies are undoubtedly important,but this study argues that they ignore the role of knowledge application mode.This study introduces the intermediary variable of "knowledge inertia",discusses the intermediary role of knowledge inertia in the impact of knowledge accumulation on enterprise innovation,and finds that two dimensions of knowledge inertia respectively play an mediation effect between knowledge accumulation and incremental innovation and breakthrough innovation..Secondly,it explores the influence of environmental turbulence on the relationship between knowledge accumulation and enterprise innovation.This paper focuses on exploring the impact of environmental turbulence on the relationship between knowledge accumulation and enterprise innovation.The results show that environmental turbulence has a moderating effect on the relationship between knowledge accumulation and enterprise innovation.Specifically,The environmental turbulence negatively moderates the relationship between each dimension of knowledge accumulation and incremental innovation.Environmental turbulence positively moderates the relationship between network knowledge accumulation and breakthrough innovation,and the moderating effect between the other two knowledgeaccumulation and breakthrough innovation is not significant.Thirdly,it clarifies the elements and causality of "knowledge accumulation-enterprise innovation" system,constructs the system dynamic flow chart of "knowledge accumulation-enterprise innovation" system.Most of the existing studies use cross section data to focus on exploring the static relationship between the two,while ignoring the research on the feedback relationship between the two.Taking the System View as the basic idea and using the system dynamics simulation method,it clarifies the elements and causality of "knowledge accumulation-enterprise innovation" system,constructs the system dynamic flow chart of "knowledge accumulation-enterprise innovation" system,and set up mathematical equations which represents the relationship between key variables in a flow graph.Fourthly,the dynamic evolution law of knowledge accumulation,incremental innovation and breakthrough innovation,Long-term dynamic relationship between knowledge accumulation and enterprise innovation,and Sensitivity of the system dynamics model of extraneous variables under the circumstance of environmental turbulence is revealed through simulation.Based on the system structure chart of "knowledge accumulation-enterprise innovation" system,using the system dynamics simulation software VENSIM PLE,this paper reveals the dynamic evolution law of knowledge accumulation,incremental innovation and breakthrough innovation,Long-term dynamic relationship between knowledge accumulation and enterprise innovation,and the moderating effect of extraneous variables(environmental turbulence,external sources of knowledge)on the relationship between the key variables in the system.
