Research On Promoting Bohai Region Economic Integration

With the deepening of the world globalization process, regional integration has already become an important method to motivate the economic growth in our country. Especially when Binhai new area became the third growth pole of China, people pay more attention to this kind of imbalance developing mode and use it to push the economy in Bohai coastal region.In1980s,"the Bohai economic zone" has been invented. With the establishment of the reform and open plan, the balance developing mode in planned economy period cannot keep pace with the requirements in1980’s. Breaking through restrict of planned economy, advancing socialist marketing economy and allowing some regions to get rich rapidly became the developing goal in economy. In this macro background, Yangtze river delta and Pearl river delta have been established and became two important motivators in our country’s economy. Shanghai Pudong district and Shenzhen district play the roles as two of the most important growth pole in China.With the development of the period, especially the need of adjusting the economy development structure which is advocate by the government, Yangtze river delta and Pearl river delta face a big challenge in changing their developing structure. At this time, our country need the new engine which is provided by the fast developing step of the Bohai economic zone and use it to advance our economic development. However in the process of Bohai economic zone integration, there are still a lot of problems we need to solve. In this paper we will start with the macro information in Bohai economic zone and then analyze the essence of the problems, in the end we will offer some suggestions.This thesis involves five parts:The first part includes the basic content of the research, research methods and innovation points.The second part will introduce some important theories of regional economy and some successful experience in China and other countries.The third part includes how we got the name of the integration of Bohai economic zone and the general information in these provinces and municipalities, the corporation status between each other.The fourth part will express some problems in the process of the regional economy integration, analyze the problems from the surface to the center, and prepare for the last suggestion part in this thesis.The fifth part will give you some suggestions which both have theoretical and practical according to the problems in the fourth part.
