In the early1990s, Network Media was introduced into China, following the newspapers, radio,television, was called the fourth Media. The development of Network Media is speed, large-scaleand forms rich, has had a major impact on society and individuals. However, Network Media has alower overall level of profitability at this stage, needs to analyze the profit model, trying to explorethe profit model, which is suitable for the survival and development of Network Media.From the development status of the network media profit model, the article showsoverall analysis and a detailed analysis of the network media profit model. In the overall analysis, itexpounds an overview of the network media, an overview of the traditional media and its profitmodel, and the profit model characteristics of network media and traditional media is compared onthe macro level. Cites several large foreign network media profit model and compare large foreignnetwork media profit model and the domestic network media profit model, emphasizes theadvantage of network media abroad. In the detailed analysis, the article classifies the networkmedia, uses cases analysis, SPSS data analysis and chart analysis method with the combination ofquantitative and qualitative analysis of the profit model of the major types of network media. Thearticle has an important conclusion: two core profit model of network media-online advertising,value-added services. Finally, makes recommendations to the future network media profit model.
