Study On The Land-lost Farmers’ Problems And Countermeasures In The Process Of Urbanization

This dissertation chose the Sichuan province Lezhi County’s land-lost farmers as the main research object. Research and analysis the urbanization’s process and farmers lost their land’s reasons; land-lost farmers’ present situation and problems and its reasons. Try to explain land-lost farmers’ problems from Macro policy and social environment and farmers’ own situation aspects. Describe land-lost farmers’ various kinds of problems like political and economic system, social adaptation and social identity etc. And try to study and analysis the difference between the gender and age. Finally combined with economic, cultural, historical and reality reasons for further analysis and discussion, in order to put forward a more practical solutions. This dissertation applies the urbanization theory and social security theory and equity theory and social capital theory to analysis the inevitability of farmers lost their land and how to ensure the land-lost famers’ legitimate rights and interests and safeguard social fairness and justice in the process of urbanization.The dissertation consists of four chapters:Chapter one is an introduction of the research background and research meaning, the present research situation of domestic and foreign scholar, the theories, research methods and contents, the difficulties and the innovation points.Chapter two introduces the Lezhi’s land-lost farmers’ current situation and investigation and analysis. Including the farmers lost their land’s process and reasons. And land-lost farmers’ various kinds of problems like economic, political system, social adaptation and social identity etc.Chapter three analyzes the reason why land-lost farmers’ problem arises. Including the binary structure of urban and rural, the land property rights system defects, the defect of the land confiscation system, compensation and resettlement institutional defects, social security system’s inadequate, land-lost farmers’ situation etc.Chapter four is the conclusions and suggestions.
