The high speed railway age brings us quick, convenient, low carbon and safe travel, realizing the ascension and leap of our country’s basic and manufacturing industries and promoting the rapid development of our economy.Since Japan Shinkansen high speed bullet train has been put into operation, the world developed countries ushered a new period of high speed railway development. France, Germany, Spain and other European countries have high speed bullet train been put into commercial operation, and some countries opened operation high speed railway at the top speed of300km. The world high speed railway total length reaches8838km. The new development and the new achievement of high speed railway inject vigor and vitality for the traditional railway transportation. China’s high speed bullet train’s development began from the sixth time of China’s railway speed increase. When the high speed bullet train realizes the maximum speed of240 km/h, we are surprised by the forthcoming of the high speed railway age and those enormous changes taken place in the future transportation. The development of our country’s high speed bullet train now is mainly used in China’s railway transform and upgrade with relatively low exports and ratio of the total value, and mainly focuses on lower level high speed bullet train exports and spare parts and accessories of high speed bullet train exports. At present, the country who is able to produce and export high speed bullet train are counted as Japan, France, Germany and Canada. Nowadays, China is able to export the whole bullet train. But China is in front of the large gap with the world four great high speed bullet train manufacturers, mainly focusing on the scarce management experience, vehicle performance security, etc. With the development of continuous operation of various high speed railway and further ascension of overall strength of China’s high speed bullet train, China has power to surpass other competitors, setting up own brand image in the world market.High speed railway, with its full unique charm of speed and passion, has attracted the eyes of countries all over the world. High speed railway is no longer the luxury only be enjoyed by developed countries, more and more emerging countries in order to meet the needs of economic and social development begins to its high speed railway construction. In this global railway construction upsurge,"Made in China" is flickering in and out. Once behind the world trend30years, the China’s railway equipment manufacturing industry is with its consistent power bringing about more, faster and more advanced high speed railway engineering. China’s high speed railway will quietly reshape world railway industry pattern in the future. Moreover, China’s high speed railway has been able to, from the initial introduction of technology digestion and absorption to mastering core technology nowadays, gradually undertake the engineering construction contract. The Go Out Strategy will be the key to deepen the develop of high speed industry.This thesis is mainly divided into six parts: The first chapter is the introduction, introducing the topic research background, significance and literature review at home and abroad. China’s high speed bullet train research and development are relatively late than the western, and the world range of high speed bullet train begins from the research in Japan Shinkansen. Along with the development direction of the high speed bullet train research deepening and expanding, high speed bullet train can be a single and separated industry to study. Scanning international high speed bullet train research widely, it still stays in simple technology or engineering field, the economic value of relative research is quite thin. Therefore, along with the continuous development of high speed bullet train in our country, this paper presents the research and discussion on export competitiveness of our high speed bullet train in absence of relevant data and analysis, putting forward the suggestions to enhance our country’s high speed bullet train export according to the present domestic and abroad situation and trend. So the study on export competitiveness of China’s high speed bullet train is of great significance in the high speed railway industry which firstly brings out the concept and possibility of export of China’s high speed bullet train. At the same time, this paper expounds the basic concept of high speed bullet train, and the relevant theory of export trade is also concluded.The second chapter firstly introduces the global scope high speed bullet train development present situation and trend, especially introducing the current situation in technology, product and research from the three worldwide most advanced countries:Japan, France and Germany. Through the analysis of above three main states developing high speed railway and high speed bullet train, we can conclude that now the high speed bullet train is developing toward the direction of diversified power, bearing lightweight and separable convenient direction. Faster, more convenient and more comfortable is the future development trend and direction of high speed bullet train. Analyzing different countries market scale and potential, innovating and matching different collocation product series will realize the objective of high speed, comfortable and convenient.In the third chapter, the present stage of our country’s high speed bullet train and the present situation of the high speed railway are introduced and analyzed, with in-depth introduction and analysis of the Harmonious high speed bullet train’s different series. Though the analysis of China’s high speed bullet train and the basic situation of the high speed railway which is convenient to compare and analyze with previous chapter foreign high speed bullet train’s development, it is clear that this chapter lays the solid foundation for export competitiveness analysis of our country’s high speed bullet train.In the fourth chapter, through the comparative analysis of the second and third chapter, the author uses the export trade theory in the first chapter to analyze the export competitiveness of our country’s high speed bullet train with more details. First of all, the author uses the international trade theory to analyze our country’s advantages and disadvantages. Secondly, based on the current situation of the SWOT analysis, from the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in four dimensions, the author brings the problems and challenges so as to improve the export competitiveness of our country’s high speed bullet train and lay a solid foundation to put forward reasonable suggestions.The fifth chapter undertakes the fourth chapter analysis results putting forward reasonable suggestions. From safety, capital, differentiation development, individual development and government support and other several aspects, we discuss the deepening development of room and methods for China’s high speed bullet train, and the acceleration of itself. The7.23Wenzhou high speed bullet train accidents brought doubt and confusion to the development of our country’s high speed bullet train. Therefore, from a security perspective, this paper holds that the safe factor shall become the key of high speed bullet train’s export. The sixth chapter is the conclusion part of the thesis. After more than ten years of accumulation, China’s high speed bullet train industry has a good and equipped development platform, though we still have gap compared with the international enterprises such as Japan Shinkansen, France Alstom, Germany Siemens and Canada Bombardier, it is beyond doubt that in the future competition environment, our country’s high speed bullet train have other unparallel advantage to stand in the world market of high speed bullet train.
