The Study On High-speed Train's Economic Effect

Currently, the construction of High-speed train is developing dramatically in China. There is no doubt that the construction and operation of High-speed train brings about a large amount of economic and social benefits to the cities which the High-speed train has set up stations. Due to this, the High-speed train has drawn professors and related researchers' attention and interests. The research of these benefits and how these benefits produce will shine a light to the incoming construction and operation of High-speed trains. Contrary to the other transport system, High-speed trains in our country mainly aim to the travelers and commuters. And through the change of the travelling time, travelers will generate distributive effect and creative effect just in order to acquire the benefits of getting together. At the meantime, the flow of traveler will bring effect to the flow of capitals and information, which will consequently change the force of equilibrium and accordingly bring about a series of economic and social benefits. The dissertation explores how these economic and social benefits generate based on the characters of the High-speed train in our country. And it define the benefits into the benefits of quicken the flow of travelers, industrial effects, effects on the city's GDP, effects on the structure of the cities. Then it applies quantitative analysis to the Hu-Ning High-speed train and finally makes the conclusion and put forward related policies.
