| Y is the largest pharmaceutical, health care products distributor in China, owns and operates the largest pharmaceutical distribution network throughout the country. Since2005, Y has been ranked top one in terms of annual sales among China’s pharmaceutical business enterprises for6successive years. As a corporation includes over200subsidiary companies,"maintain the industry first, innovation of business model, realization of business integration" is targeted as its business strategic objectives. Therefore, how to integrate its internal resources is the crucial issue the corporation implementing its business strategy to be confronted with.In this paper, procurement management and value chain theory is applied, combined with the implementation of corporate strategic objectives, in particular, the theory of the centralized procurement of pharmaceutical business and reference to foreign pharmaceutical commercial enterprises trends combination of theory and practice, by collecting first-hand industrial information, analyzing Company Y current status, its overall strategic objectives, procurement operations, issues of centralized procurement process; then, focus on strategic objectives, comply with the design principles and consider internal and external factors, to propose the strategy of centralized procurement scheme, and provide supporting solutions in the process of implementation, clarify how to implement centralized procurement strategy.This study has a very important practical significance to the reality. Practical significance not only on how to integrate the company Y overall procurement resources, reduce procurement costs, and increase the profitability of the business; Y company as a leader in the industry, centralized procurement resource integration worked out a scientific and effective integration method, also has a very important reference for cross-regional resource integration of the domestic large-scale commercial pharmaceutical distribution enterprises. |
