The Study On The Influence Factors Of Medical Knowledge Transfer During The Context Of Health Seeking Behavior With Network

Insufficient supply of medical knowledge is one of the main reasons which cause the current doctor-patient conflicts. The network has becoming a very important channel for medical knowledge suppling, how to transfer the medical knowledge effectively through the network is becoming the important issues in the theoretical study and practical management. Based on the theory of seeking behavior, knowledge search, knowledge transfer and other related theories, the paper defines the concept of health seeking behavior with network as well as measuring the dimension and developing its measurement scale, and then study the factors that affect patient knowledge transfer performance and its role in the network for medical treatment contextsmechanisms. What is more, the paper also discusses the effect of patients’ medical knowledge absorption capacity between health seeking behavior with network and medical knowledge transfer. Finally, it has targeted recommendations.The paper starts with review of literature, it summarizes the relationship between the doctor behavior, the network interaction and knowledge transfer, then put forward the concept of health seeking behavior with network, and combine with interviews of doctors and patients and define the concept of network medicaldimensions and measurement scales. At last, the paper introduces the variable and builds a research model and assumption of influence on medical knowledge transfer.At the first stage of empirical research, structured interviews with doctors and patients are carried out. According to the results of interviews, the paper plans a questionnaire. At the second stage, the paper conducts the questionnaire through analyzing datas from pre-investigaiton. At the third stage, the investigation to patients and doctors are made. In addition, the datas are analyzed with SPSS18.0.The dissertation reaches the following conclusions. Firstly, the medical content, medical methods, and medical treatment situations are main factors influencing the network medical knowledge transfer; Instrumental context, emotional content, network interaction, information searching, responsiveness, privacy, richness have positive significant effect on patient awareness and satisfaction; The patients’medical knowledge absorption capacity has a moderating effect between the health seeking behavior with network and the medical knowledge transfer performance. The different individual characteristics of patients have a significant difference on knowledge transfer; The networks for medical treatment in different ways varies degrees of impact on the performance of medical knowledge transfer. The conclusions of these studies can help the network managers, medical institutions and patients to improve the status of network medical knowledge to provide better guidance to enhance medical knowledge transfer performance.In the end, this dissertation summarizes the whole research, and points out the research limitation and future prospects of research.
