In recent years studies about employee’s job satisfaction have been concerned more andmore in China and abroad. The employee satisfaction has become a an important factor tomeasure the organization and management effective or not with humanist management ideainteriorizing increasingly. Since the state-owned enterprise has the particularity differ fromother forms of ownership, it is a great realistic significance to do the research on the jobsatisfaction of the state-owned enterprise.The paper takes the formal staffs of state-owned enterprises as research objects. Firstly,the status and characteristics of job satisfaction in state-owned enterprise is discussed. Aempirical research on job satisfaction is made after consulting the satisfaction surveyquestionnaire and interview which are based on the expounding of concept research statusassessment tool and survey methods.Deep reasons are analysed particularly the effect of salary management through theresearch on the influencing factor of job satisfaction. The disadvantages of current salarysystem is diagnosed and salary management strategy which can improve job satisfaction iscome up with.The method and mode to solve the state-owned enterprise salary problem are put forwardto providing effective salary design for the enterprise. Several Suggestions and ideas are putforward for further improvement and enhancing of pay satisfaction.As one of the main tool in enterprise management and employees actuator, salarymanagement with a view to guarantee the staffs’ basic Life, incentive and express the abilityof the employees simultaneously. The enterprise should start off the employee’s jobsatisfaction to enhance the establish and development of salary management system.Hopefully it is helpful for state-owned enterprises in building modern managementsystem and providing reference for human resource management.
