Financial Asset Management Co Commercial Transition Problem And Countermeasure Research

At the end of20th century, China government established four Financial Asset Management Corporations (AMCs),which are Cinda, Orient, Great Wall and HuaRong, to resolve the huge non-performing assets problems. After10years operation, China AMCs had disposed trillions of non-performing assets, the task of China AMCs for non-performing assets disposition almost completed. However, the mission of China AMCs did not end. It is a crucial moment for China AMCs future development. In this paper, the research about the commercialized problems and how to implement the commercialized transformation of AMCs is given, which would be great theoretical and practical significance.This essay analyses the AMCs commercialized transformation problems and constraints, and then proposed countermeasures with the reference of international advanced experience. At last, examples are analyzed with the theories the methods and the measures discussed the article. After analyzing the particular example, it proves that the countermeasures are correct. This paper is divided into7chapters. Chapter1:Introduction; Chapter2:China AMCs’characters and functions; Chapter3: Actuality analysis of China AMC commercialized transformation; Chapter4: China AMCs’main system and the international ways of disposing non-performing assets; Chapter5:The research on how to implement commercialized transformation of China AMC; Chapter6:Commercialized transformation practice and exploration of H AMC; Chapter7:Conclusion and perspective.This essay ended with the conclusion of China AMCs policy financial institutions with the responsibility for reducing the non-preforming assets ratios, to ensure a sound development of the banking system. Due to its policy nature, there are problems exist in the legal status, business operation objective, and incentive working system. Besides, China AMCs are facing the inappropriate corporate structure and failure competition mechanisms. For the above problems, this essay made five suggested countermeasures about commercialized transformation from guiding principles, strategic positioning, guarantee conditions, relative policies and supporting measures. At the end, this essay points out the Financial Holding Conglomerate (FHC) would be the best choice for China AMC commercialized transformation.
