Survival and development of enterprises is the eternal subject. If enterprises want toobtain the sustainable development, each management must face seriously the thing ofmaintaining and improving the performance. With humanism arisen, people concern andattention the occupation quality of life more and more. Satisfaction and performancebecome the two core objectives of enterprise human resources management.Many managers think that the enterprise is good or bad can be embodied in their jobsatisfaction. Because of the increase of employee satisfaction can improve their workenthusiasm and reduce the brain drain crisis, so as to improve enterprise performance andenterprise competitiveness. Therefore, most enterprises have attached great importance toimprove the job satisfaction of the employees, and carry out regular employee jobsatisfaction. Through the investigation, the enterprise hopes to improve its performanceand attract the employee to work hard.Petroleum industry is the pillar industry of national economy, which plays a key rolefor national economy healthy and fast development. Since our country joins WTO,foreign oil companies have entered into China with the domestic oil companies fordomestic and foreign markets. Foreign oil companies’ advanced production technologyand management experience brings huge impact to the domestic petroleum company,domestic petroleum enterprises no longer are the domestic energy supply department, andbecome a business enterprise in international oil and gas market. The domestic petroleumenterprises how to make use of its own advantages, integration of various resources,reducing the cost and increasing the output in order to enhance their competitiveadvantage in international competition for remaining invincible, gradually become theimportant topic for domestic scholars and the general petroleum workers. Improvingemployees’ performance is based on reducing production cost and improving production,while to a large extent the improvement of their work performance will be effected by theemployee’s job satisfaction. So it is necessary to study the relationship between thepetroleum enterprise employees’ job satisfaction and work performance.The X company for studying is a famous oilfield enterprise in Henan, with strongrepresentation. In this paper, job satisfaction and work performance based on the theory,using a questionnaire survey method, investigation of the employees of170. Through the analysis to the recycling data, I have obtained the current situation of theoil company employee’s job satisfaction and work performance of employees inpetroleum enterprises, on the basis of which I also have studied the influence of thedemographic variables on the job satisfaction and the work performance. Then I haveprogressed in order by correlation analysis and regression analysis to the petroleumenterprise employee’s job satisfaction and work performance. The research confirmed thedesign assumptions basically, and got the following conclusions:1. Only in the academicaspect, employees’ job satisfaction and work performance differ and present a significantdifference due to their individual attributes;2. Oil field enterprise employees’ jobsatisfaction and work performance of interaction, is not a one-way function. Through thisresearch, I hope that the result can help the oil enterprise managers make some policyincentives to attract employees, so that employees’ job satisfaction and work performancecan be improved.
