Study On The Risk Assentment Of Logistic Strategic Alliance In Shipping Enterprises

Since the reform and opening, China shipping enterprises has made great achievements in business, but since entering the90’s, the serious situation of supply exceeding demand in the whole shipping business makes price competition tend into a vicious cycle, in order to gain a firm foothold in the competition, many shipping companies have established logistics strategic alliances, the use of logistics strategic alliances can make shipping company achieve scale economies, share information resource, share the market risk.But the logistics strategic alliance is not everything, while it brings economic benefits to shipping companies, it also hides many risk factors in the operation. Due to asymmetric information between shipping enterprises and cooperative enterprises; cultural differences; market uncertainty and other reasons, this will lead to a variety of risks. If logistics forecasting and strategic alliance management is lack, enterprise shipping alliances will not achieve the intended purpose, this could have caused greater loss to the Union parties. Therefore, strengthening the logistics alliance risk identification and assessment has extremely important significance.Firstly, this paper summarizes and reviews the basic theory of strategic alliance and its risk. Secondly, through in-depth analysis of the shipping alliances problems in the implementation process, summarized the alliance risk factors, through expert survey and analysis of the literature, the paper constructed risk framework model of logistics strategy alliance. Thirdly, risk assessment system is established based on Risk Matrix and Borda Methods, and the shipping alliance risks are evaluated combined by data from launching investigation questionnaire. Fourthly, the risk factors of logistics strategic alliance are arranged according to conclusion of risk evaluation matrix, results in key risks of logistics strategic alliance; some mitigation mechanisms are also put forward to those key risks, which provide the pertinent, accurate and effective warrant for making the alliance risk management plan, and offer a principal reference for enterprise risk decision-making; it has reference value to controlling and reducing the risk of shipping enterprises alliance in reality.
