Performance Management has always been an important and difficult part ofhuman resource management. However, as a necessary section of performancemanagement, performance interview was often neglected or tackled curtly and did notplay its due role. This article focuses on the current situation of performance interviewinadequate or ineffective in corporate and analyzes the effect of the factors ofperformance interviews through the study of factors such as both sides of the interview,the performance assessment system in organization, as well as some factors during theinterview process. Through a lot of reading the results of previous studies, according tothe results of empirical analysis, the article finally put forward to some feasiblesuggestions of improving the interview results and better realization of the strategicobjectives of the organization.This paper first reviews the relevant theories and the performance interview. Onthis basis, hypothesizes are raised and research data is collected through questionnaires.In the form of correlation analysis and regression analysis, conclusions are drawn andassumptions are verified. According to the study results, the most important factors thataffect the performance interview efficiency is the organization’s performance system. Agood system security is the key to performance interview process. In addition, theinterview executives take charge of the interview and are responsible for building agood interview atmosphere. Their attitude towards the interview and the ability ofholding the interview paces also greatly influence the effect of the interview.
