As aresult, while maximizing benefit, the enterprises should be people-oriented, in order toprevent the loss of talented employees.As we all know, compensation management is the core content of human resource ofmanagement. Reasonable and effective compensation management can effectivelystimulate the enthusiasm of the staff, attract and retain outstanding employees, which canensure the realization of business objectives and promote the development of enterprises.However, there are still many problems in the compensation management of modernenterprises, which is still the weak point of human resource of management of the modernenterprise. While most enterprises still follow the traditional compensation managementsystem, some problems seriously hamper the development of enterprises, such as theirrational structure of the compensation system, the lack of incentives in the compensationsystem and so on. The design of compensation system is an important component ofeffective compensation management system. Therefore, it plays an important part in thedevelopment of modern enterprises to design a scientific and rational compensationsystem.Accordingly, taking XW hotel for example, this article adopts theory of human capitaland compensation incentive and adopts case analysis, interviews and questionnaires.Through the research and empirical analysis of the salary system of the XW hotel, thisarticle found that there is problems in the compensation system of the hotel and analyze thereasons for these problems. On the basis of the XW hotel’s original salary system, with theinfluencing factors from internal and external environment, this article fully optimizes thecompensation system of XW hotel and brings out specific measure.The main content of this article is composed of five chapters. The first chapter is theintroduction of this article, which introduces the background and significance of the thesis,research methods and ideas. IT also gives the main contents of the paper and innovation.This part also classify and organize relevant references. The second chapter provides anoverview of the relevant theories of the compensation system, including the concepts of compensation and compensation management, the concepts and the elements of salarysystem design, several typical compensation model, basic theory of the compensationsystem design, the factors influencing the compensation management. The third chapteranalyzes the current situation of the compensation system on the XW hotel on the basis ofthe existing compensation system information, by adopting interviews, questionnaires(compensation satisfaction surveys). Then it gives empirical analysis to the currentsituation of the XW hotel’s compensation system. After that, this part summarizes theexisting problems in the compensation system of XW hotel and finds out the reasons forthese problems. The fourth chapter is the focus of this article. According to the purpose,principles and processes of optimizing the design of compensation system, combined withthe strategic objectives of the hotel, this part gives design of compensation system in detail,including job analysis and evaluation, salary survey, and the determination of the salarystructure and level. Then it gives the specific programs which optimize the compensationsystem of the XW hotel. The new compensation system of the hotel contains four elements,including basic salary, bonuses, performance compensation and benefits. It also bring outthe structure and level of every element. Chapter5brings out some measures to ensure thedesigning of compensation system, in order to safeguard the smooth progress of thecompensation system design.This article talks about the entire process of the compensation system design, byadopting theoretical analysis and empirical analysis. Through case analysis, it hopes toprovide a reference in the construction and management of compensation system for otherhotels in domestic. |
