Study On The Logistics Model Of Grain

Our country is the large country in population, the demand for grain increases every year. Grain has remarkable seasonality, and the imbalance of our county’s grain production and marketing,as a result, people began to pay more attention to grain Logistics gradually. Northeast China is one of major grain producing areas in China, produces ten million tons of grain every year, and has excellent quality. Otherwise,southern part of China is the main sales area,the improvement of people’s living standards contributes to a huge market demand.Based on unique natural advantage,Dalian acts as foreign trade hub of northeast area, a large number of grain cirulates via Dalian. Therefore,it’s necessary to build Dalian grain logistics mode. Grain logistics has gone through several development stage,includes packaging transportati-on,bulk transportation and containerized grain transportation mode. However,with the globaliz-ation of grain logistics, the traditional mode,which can’t meet the market demand well, shows more and more shortages. Containerization has incomparable advantages:multimodal transportation,"Door to door" service, without reloading between different mode of transport, reduce cost and the damage and loss of grain, increase efficiency.Although it’s in initial stage, Containerization mode is drawing the universal attention now.In the first, this paper introduced the related theories of the development of grain logistics, and domestic and foreign grain logistics situation and development trends in present. Then connected with the advantage of Dalian port and geography, this paper presents the containerized grain transportation mode of Dalian based on the related theories and the grain problems.Besides, this paper aims to design the operation procedu-re,function,technological process and the selection of container.By comparing the three mode in various aspects,this new mode is proved to be practicable.At last,this paper shows some corresponding solution for the possible risks.
