A Study On Evaluation Index System Of Peasantry’s Modernization

Modernization of the peasantry, the country and the agriculture is the foundationand the difficulty of Chinese modernization.Among them, the peasantry’smodernization is not only the tool but also the ultimate goal of the country and theagriculture modernization.If we want to achieve the modernization of country, thestudy of peasantry modernization should go first.Clearly, the starting point of thisstudy is to find out what level the peasantry modernization has achieved.Although,domestic scholars has done a amount of researches of peasantry’s modernization,producing a complete theoretical system and analytical framework, we are still lack ofstudies and the evaluation system on the realization degree of the peasantry’smodernization, based on the recognition,I established the research themes andcontent.This paper firstly retrospect the research on the modernization of huaman,peasantry’s modernization, and then draw on relevant research results, I definit theconception of peasantry’s modernization, build peasantry’s modernization evaluationindex system, which contains the modernization of peasant lifestyle, modernization ofproduction methods, ideas,physical modernization and social behavior modernizationin totally5fist-level indicators and24secondary indicators.Second, this paper study the principles, methods which should be followed whenbuild the peasantry’s modernization evaluation index system.The process mainlyinclude3components: theoretical preparation, the initial choice of the index system,the index system optimization options, further more this paper use AHPempowerment of various indicators,among the5fist-level indicators, the modernideas weight coefficient is the biggest, physical weight coefficient is thesmallest.Meanwhile this paper established the comprehensive evaluation model forthe peasantry’s modernization. The questionnaire designed by the peasantry’smodernization evaluation index system based on this paper is empirical test with goodreliability and validity, and better able to distinguish between farmers in differentregions of the degree of modernization level difference.Finally,this paper examine the value of the research by empirical analysis. Select330farmers come from8new rural pilot village of Hebei Province,they areShijiazhuang Gaocheng guanzhuang Village, Tangshan City, the Qian’an townXinZhai Village, Langfang Yongqing daxinge Village, Baoding Yixian Yanzi Villageapplication selected330farmers from8new rural pilot village in Hebei Province asthe evaluation object,cllect and analysis dates from the questionnaire filled in by330farmers.And the result prove the reliability and effectiveness of the evaluationindicator system for peasantry’s modernization, Cangzhou Huanghua, baizhuangVillage, Xingtai Luanxie Village, Zhangjiakou Kangbao Nanqiaojia Village, County,Chengde Xinglong Miaojiaying village.According to analysis the collected data thedegree of realization of the modernization of the experimental subject is divided into3levels: the first level: the Baizhuang Village, Xinzhai Village, Luanxie Village,Yanzi village (composite score3.60);the second levels:Nanqiaojia Village,DaxingeVillage, Guanzhuang Village (composite score3.60-3.40);the third level: Miaojia ying (integrated sub-3.40below). The empirical results demonstrate the reliability andvalidity of the farmers modernization evaluation index system to realize thesignificance of this study.
