Chain Management Industry And Evaluation Indicator System

The chain store operation, considered as an advanced operation mode, has became the leading operation style in the business field, and plays a more and more important role in National economy. As one of the embranchment programs of < Performance Evaluation Index System of Service Industry > proposed by Nanjing government, this paper will put forward a scientific and systematic performance evaluation index system of chain store operation.The paper will first review the relative overseas and domestic theories of chain store operation and performance evaluation index system. Then the paper will analyze the development mode and characters of chain store operation in American, Europe and Japan, which are the most advanced countries/regions in the whole world. According to the comparison between these countries and China, it will find the characters and disadvantages of China chain store operation during its developing period. Based on the research above, the performance evaluation index system of chain store operation which is composed by 20 indexes will be established. At the end of this paper, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process), an advanced management evaluation method, will be used to endue these 20 indexes with weighing. According to the relative statistic data of the three cities in China, this paper will use the performance evaluation index system to evaluate the development situation of these cities' chain store operation.
