| Equipment manufacturing industry is an important pillar industry in Liaoning Province as industrial bases in northeast. The revitalization of the equipment manufacturing industry has played a critical role in pushing progressive development of Liaoning Province. In recent years, Liaoning Province began to attract foreign investment to improve the quality and level of equipment manufacturing industry in all aspects of technology and production.But due to the effect of industry, system and various factors, the development of the equipment manufacturing industry of Liaoning province using FDI is relatively backward in comparison with Jiangsu, Guangdong and other coastal areas. As a result,it is vital and essential to study and analyse the FDI’s economic effect on equipment manufacturing industry and find problems and raise suggestion and solutions in Liaoning Province.In the base of the present situation and the characteristic of equipment manufacturing industry using FDI in Liaoning province, this paper carries on the qualitative and quantitative analysis.Combining with related FDI theory and economic effect theory,i use Eviews6.0to analyses the data empirically and use the econometric methods to research empirically the economic effect of equipment manufacturing industry using FDI in Liaoning province, including the economic growth, the technology diffusion and the influence on export trade. The conclusion is that the technology diffusion and export trade influence is obvious in Liaoning province. Finally, based on the analysis, the paper puts forward many policy suggestions that how Liaoning province make better use of FDI to promote the develop the equipment manufacturing industry.The innovation of this paper is that it applies the FDI economic effect analysis into the specific industry of the equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning province and use software to the empirical analysis. It is of realistic guidance and reference significance for the the future development of the equipment manufacturing industry in our province. |
