A Research On Performance Of FDI In Equipment-manufacturing Industry Of Shenyang

As component of reform and opening up,foreign direct investment(FDI) has been indispensable strength to economic growth,structural reform,and social development in China.With reference to Shenyang,FDI has an important position in economy,especially in equipment-manufacturing industry in recent years.Many researchers have made a lot of researches on FDI.With expanded scale of FDI,performance of FDI gradually becomes focus.There are two trends of performance of FDI:overestimating performance of FDI or generalizing it.Accordingly,it is necessary to analyzing and appraising effects of FDI objectively and synthetically,in order that formulating and regulating FDI policy, tightening management of FDI,and expanding benefits of FDI positively.Basing on former achievements,this paper begins with status of FDI in equipment-manufacturing industry of Shenyang,and analyzes every effect of FDI and gives advices.The first chapter of this paper reviews researches on performance of FDI, and the second chapter expands theoretical results on performance of FDI,and then analyzes economic effects.The third chapter expands status of FDI and performance in equipment-manufacturing industry of Shenyang.The forth chapter analyzes economic performances of FDI in detail,including effect of GDP,effect of capital,effect of employment,effect of export,effect of tax,and effect of technology spillover by quantitative analysis.The fifth chapter gives solutions of FDI in equipment-manufacturing industry of Shenyang about how to enhance performance of FDI.The last chapter concludes that impact of FDI on equipment-manufacturing industry of Shenyang is not as important as what we expect,especially on technology.
