When tourism industry escalates from sightseeing to experience gradually, favor on culture of scenic area is stronger and stronger. In many types of scenic area, religious tourism areas have mysterious and powerful effect on tourists because of its profound culture. Our country abounds in religious tourism attraction, riches in religious tourism areas and develop rapidly. But not in conformity with the situation, the development and management of them needs to improve, relative researches are needed to support.This paper gives an overview of relevant documents on religious tourism area and consumer at home and abroad at first, put forward the main theories of this research:tourism sustainable development theory, symbiosis theory, tourism experience theory. On this basis, build the research system about behavior characteristics and motivation of tourists in religious tourism area from three dimensions:individual attribute, tourism psychology, consumption mode. Second, analyze the investigation of Guiyuan temple and Wudang mountain in Hubei province, then, summarize the behavior characteristics and motivation of tourists in religious tourism area. After all of this, provide the appropriate strategy on development and management of religious tourism area. At last, Summary this research, point out its innovation and prospect the possibility of further research. |
